- I just wanted to warn you when dealing with Better Concepts in
- New York. They're an Amiga dealer and usually Span a 2 page ad in Amiga
- Computing magazine each month.

- DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

- Here's my on going saga...

- I ordered an A1200 with an accelerator from them (the person who
- helped me was Craig) in December. THey said they have the computer out
- within a week. I ddn't get it until January 16th or sometime around then.

- When I received my computer, it did not have OS3.1 that I had
- ordered. Who packs equipment and doesn't check to make sure everything
- you ordered is in there?

- So, I called them back up, I was moving so Craig couldn't send
- UPS to my place to pick up the package, I had to pay for shipping. He
- said they'd reimburse me. Fine.

- I sent the package off, they got it, put in the 3.1 ROMS and
- installed OS3.1. Then they sent it out. Craig said it was shipped out on
- a Thursday. The following Wednesday came and still nothing from UPS. I
- called and talked to a Peter. He gave me the tracking number, said he
- called UPS and UPs said it was en route. Now, I know he didn't call UPS
- because I called UPS as soon as I got the tracking number and they said
- there wasn't even an origin scan on my computer. So, how could it be in
- transit?

- They finally got my computer out February 2nd and I got it on the
- 6th. Now, I open the package -- there's no OS3.1 disks like I had
- ordered, there's no reimbursement check, and sure enough now the entire
- keyboard is broken and does not work!

- I'm am going to post this message quite frequently to remind you
- Amiga Users who not to deal with until they finally get their act
- together and get me the computer I should have had over 2 months ago now.

- They have also yet to return any phone calls. I talked to a John
- several times and he was supposed to get back to me on a few occassions
- -- never did. Peter was supposed to get back to me after I called and
- left a message for him -- never did.

- In the meantime, do not order from them. I don't know what kind
- of business they run, but obviously this isn't first class. :P
